Paul Sumner
carved wall sculptures
Paul is a self-employed woodworker living in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has been in business since 1979 and his work has been shown in galleries nationwide and exhibited in several critically acclaimed shows, such as the Smithsonian Craft Show. Although Paul is a prolific artist, his fish are among his most dynamic works. Each fish is distinct with personality and incorporates his sense of fun and whimsey. Playing with color, texture and pattern, Paul creates unique pieces that look great alone or displayed in "schools."
