Collaborative artists John Rymer and Kevin Ritter create original ceramic tile wall pieces in their St Petersburg, Florida studio. Their artwork is inspired by a love for the sea and everything "beachy." These brilliantly colored tile panels featuring tropical plants, birds, animals, shorelines and cottages evoke memories of past relaxing vacations as well as an eagerness to return to idyllic settings like these found on Florida's Gulf Coast.
The original artwork is created using a combination of ink, watercolor and color pencil. These media produce bright bold colors that maintain their intensity when transferred to ceramic tiles. Paintings, drawings, printing and assembly are all done by the artists in their St. Petersburg studio.
This framed mural consists of six 4" × 4" tiles. It is ready to wall mount using the attached metal picture hanger.
